Videos and exports
VideoFrameLab reads the video you select and extracts frames in your browser. The workbench keeps the video, captured frames, and storyboard notes on your device. Your browser creates the images, ZIP files, and PDFs that you download.
Some files need an additional decoder. When the workbench needs it, your browser downloads the decoder from VideoFrameLab and runs it locally.
Website hosting
Cloudflare Pages delivers the website and its assets. Cloudflare may process request data such as IP addresses and information about network traffic to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
Browser preferences
VideoFrameLab uses browser local storage to remember your language and color theme on this device. You can reset those preferences by clearing this site’s data in your browser. Files you already downloaded are managed separately by your device.
