What to know before exporting
- Quality and file size
- JPG is lossy. The presets are encoder settings, and the resulting file size depends on the scene and your browser.
- Export dimensions
- Keep Original size or choose a smaller size to preserve proportions. The PNG stored in the frame library stays intact.
Frequently asked questions
Which JPG setting should I start with?
Try Balanced for a cover image. Inspect small text and hard edges at the intended size, then compare High or PNG if the details matter.
Will every JPG be smaller than a PNG?
The result depends on the picture, dimensions and settings. Compare both formats on the same frame at the same size.
